Suffolk County police warned that they will begin enforcing a curfew from dusk to dawn south of Montauk Highway in Babylon village, Lindenhurst and Copiague–three communities badly ravaged by Hurricane Sandy.
Police announced the curfew shortly before sundown Friday and threatened to arrest drivers and pedestrians who violate the rule. First Precinct officers will be patrolling the South Shore areas.
