Cops Seek Tips in Baby Formula Theft


Police said man in this photo is wanted for stealing more than two dozen cans of baby formula from a CVS in Huntington Station.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man who stole more than two dozen cans of baby formula from a CVS in Huntington Station, police said.

Suffolk police released a wanted poster of the man who they say entered the East Jericho Turnpike store on Aug. 20 at 10:30 a.m. and took 26 assorted cans of baby formula, valued at almost $600.

The man, described only as a black male, wearing a white shirt and black shorts, was seen getting into the passenger side of a black Infiniti sedan before it drove away in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
