Great Neck Woman Accused of DWI Crash With Boy

A woman has been arrested for drunken driving with her 8-year-old nephew after she crashed her car in Bridgehampton on Monday evening, Southampton Town Police said.

Lee Introp was driving on Montauk Highway when she rear-ended a vehicle that in turn rear-ended another vehicle shortly after 6 p.m., police said.

Officers found the 47-year-old Great Neck woman to be under the influence of alcohol, police said.

There were no reported injuries. The child was released to the custody of his parents.

Introp was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and driving while intoxicated with a minor, a felony under Leandra’s Law.

She will be arraigned Tuesday at Southampton Town Justice Court.
