Suffolk County police have identified the 41-year-old Islandia woman who was killed when a motorcycle crashed into the car she was riding in.

Police said Mary Andrea Ryan was in the rear passenger seat of a Nissan Altima that was making a left turn into a strip mall on Connetquot Avenue in Islip Terrace when the crash occurred at 5:23 p.m. Saturday.

The motorcyclist, 24-year-old Christian Vogel of Central Islip, was critically injured.

The driver of the car and her two male passengers were not injured.
