One dollar. That’s how much money two teenagers grabbed from a brother and sister after allegedly robbing the victims in Sea Cliff Wednesday night, Nassau County police said.
Detectives said they arrested 18-year-old Paul Gabriel of Greenvale and Peter Vandoros, 18, of Glen Head after they fled the scene just after 7 p.m. Both were charged with first-degree and second-degree robbery.
According to police, Gabriel allegedly threatened the 21-year-old male victim, who was with his 23-year-old sister at a Gulf gas station, with a screwdriver before taking $1 from the victim. Police said Vandoros stood by yelling at the victims during the alleged robbery.
They were arrested a short time later in Glen Head, police said.
Both will be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
