Suffolk County police have identified the man killed after an altercation outside a Brentwood bar early Saturday morning as 30-year-old Edgar Perez-Avalos of Brentwood.

Homicide detectives said officers were called to Migueleno Sports Bar on Clarke Street just before 4 a.m. and found him dead in the parking lot.

Witnesses told police at the scene that a fight between approximately five people took place before the man was killed.

His body was taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s office where an autopsy will be performed, police said.
