The Friends actress, 43, whose very public divorce to Brad Pitt years ago remained in the headlines for years, is now altar bound once again.

According to ABC, Aniston got engaged Friday, after Theroux, 41, asked for her hand in marriage on his birthday. The engagement comes after a year of dating, during which the two reportedly moved in together.

This will be the second marriage for Aniston. Aniston married Pitt in 2000 in Malibu, but later divorced in 2005. At the time of separation and divorce, Pitt was rumored to have been taking part in an affair with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie. Currently, Jolie and Pitt are engaged.

Following the divorce, Aniston went on to date Vince Vaughn and John Mayer before meeting Theroux. The two officially started dating around spring 2011. According to People magazine, they were first spotted together in May.

Theroux and Aniston have even been co-stars in the past. Both starred in humorous movie Wanderlust in which Aniston played a New Yorker that seeks a more peaceful life at a hedonist colony down south with her husband. Theroux, a resident, goes after the married woman and ends up trying to sell the property in order to move away with her to Miami.

While Aniston is more recognizable for her role in the movie and other roles she’s had over the years, Theroux has also had many memorable roles including in Your Highness, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Miami Vice, and Zoolander .
