A man was arrested for drunken boating with more than a dozen minors aboard in Greenport on Sunday afternoon, Southold Town Police said.
Bay constables stopped the 22-foot vessel for being overloaded with 16 children and found the driver, Charles Miller, to be under the influence of alcohol at 2:52 p.m., police said.
Police charged the 47-year-old Manhasset man with boating while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child and reckless operation of a vessel.

He was scheduled to be arraigned Monday at Southold Town Justice Court.
