A Ronkonkoma man is listed in serious condition after he was injured in a motorcycle crash Friday night, Suffolk County police said.

According to police, 26-year-old Jared Schraner, was driving west on Express Drive North in Ronkonkoma when he apparently lost control of his 1998 Kawasaki motorcycle that was “traveling at a high rate of speed.” The motorcycle hit a curb and crashed at 11:30 p.m., police said.

Schraner was transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center and he’s listed in serious condition, police said.
