Rebecca Sarah Ryan, who turns 16 next month, was last seen Friday at Mercy First, a not-for-profit family service agency on Convent Road.
“If a child does go AWOL from one of our facilities, we do notify the police within an hour,” said Gerard McCaffery, CEO of Mercy First.
Ryan is described as a Hispanic girl, 5-feet, 3-inches tall, 145 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes, according to a missing persons’ poster.
She has a double star tattoo on her hand with “2-10-10” under it. She was last seen wearing blue jeans with pink and black sneakers.
The teen is on medication, which she does not have with her. Ryan’s family was unavailable for comment.
Missing Persons Section detectives ask that anyone with information about Ryan’s whereabouts call them at 516-573-7347.
