Central Islip Man Charged in Town Hall Bomb Threats

A Central Islip man has been accused of calling in four bomb threats against Islip Town Hall over the past nine months.

Suffolk County Police arrested Ronald Kellman on Friday and charged him with four counts of falsely reporting an incident.

Kellman called Town Hall to make the threats from pay phones on Nov. 17, Jan. 11, May 23 and June 12, police said.


He will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.
