A 25-year-old man was shot and wounded in his hometown of Glen Cove on Thursday night, authorities said.

Ledio Spahija got into an argument in the rear of a social club on Glen Street when he was shot in the neck at around 9:30 p.m., Glen Cove city police said.

He was taken to Winthrop University Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

Police arrested one of the men involved, 32-year-old Agostino Sorace of Glen Cove, and charged him with second-degree attempted murder.

Investigators are still searching for the shooter, according to Lt. Thomas Fitzpatrick.

Sorace will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
