Nassau County police are looking for a gunman and his accomplice who carjacked a man in Roosevelt on Wednesday afternoon.
The 41-year-old victim told police he was driving his 2012 silver Chevrolet Malibu when he picked up an acquaintance on Nassau Road, drove him to a drug store and then to Davis Street, where a man got in the car with them and pointed a gun at the driver’s head at 3:39 p.m., police said.
The two men forced the victim to drive to a ATM to withdraw $100 cash and then drive to Hempstead, where they forced him out of the car and fled with the vehicle.
The victim was not injured.
The suspects were described as black men. The first was about 40 years old with a shaved head, wearing a green tee shirt and tan pants. The second suspect had corn rows or braided hair.
