Swastika Found on Roadway in Point Lookout


While on patrol early Saturday morning, a Nassau County police officer discovered a Swastika drawn on the roadway in Point Lookout, police said.

According to detectives, the officer was on routine patrol just after 5 a.m. when he noticed that five large orange traffic cones were blocking off traffic at Lido Boulevard and Glenwood Avenue. When he exited the vehicle, the officer noticed that a Swastika had been drawn in white chalk on the roadway.

There were also obscenities as well as offensive slogans written on the road, police said.
