A man is facing allegations that he was driving drunk with three children in his SUV in Riverside over the weekend.

Southampton Town Police officers pulled over an Isuzu Trooper for speeding and swerving on Nugent Drive and found the driver, Otto Canel, to be under the influence of alcohol at 8:16 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Three children were in the truck at the time, police said.

The 27-year-old Flanders man was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and driving while intoxicated with a minor in the vehicle, a felony under Leandra’s Law.
