Levittown Man Burglarized Neighbor’s Home, Cops Say

A Levittown man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly burglarized a woman’s home on his own street.

According to cops, a woman, 81, returned to her Elm Drive East residence at 10:30 p.m. to find her glass back door was broken. She searched the home and found that her iPad was missing. The woman called police and after an investigation, cops arrested 28-year-old Julian T. Lauria, of Elm Drive East. Cops recovered the woman’s iPad.

Lauria is being charged with Burglary and 2 counts of Petit Larceny that occurred in April when he allegedly swiped merchandise from an East Meadow 7-11 store. Lauria will be arraigned on July 2 at First District Court, Hempstead.
