The alleged robbers were interrupted by a customer while tying up an employee in the first case and fled empty handed but made off with a bag of jewelry in the second case, according to investigators.

Elliott will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding the second suspect to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
