Suffolk County police are investigating a home invasion during which a North Amityville man was beaten by three gunmen last week.

A police spokeswoman said three men armed with handguns kicked in the back door of an Emerald Street home and demanded money from a man inside at about 5 a.m. Thursday.

The men hit the victim in the head with a bottle before they made off with a TV, iPhone and jewelry.

First Squad detectives are continuing the investigation.
