Rockville Centre RadioShack Robbers Sought

Two alleged robbers have been arrested and Nassau County police are looking for three others involved in the gunpoint hold up of a Rockville Centre electronics store on Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

Three men, at least one of whom was armed with a long-barreled revolver, announced a robbery at the RadioShack on Sunrise Highway, forcing the employees into the back room at 2:14 p.m., police said.

The trio stole cell phones, gaming systems and iPad tablets before they fled in a light-colored, older model, SUV with Florida license plates.

Parker and Crawley were linked to a robbery attempt at a T-Mobile store in West Hempstead on Wednesday, police said.

They were charged with robbery and attempted robbery and will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
