Amityville Man Charged in Road Rage Shooting


An Amityville man has been accused of shooting at a Massapequa man during a road rage confrontation on Saturday.

Suffolk County police arrested William Brown. The 28-year-old man was charged with reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police said Brown got into an argument with the 30-year-old victim over a parking space at Dunkin Donuts on Broadway, then followed the victim’s van and fired a shot at it.

Neither the driver nor his passenger were hit by the gunfire.

Brown will be arraigned Sunday First District Court in Central Islip.
