Al Pacino coming back to Broadway this fall

NEW YORK (AP) — Al Pacino is returning to the ugly world of real estate – he’s revisiting “Glengarry Glen Ross” on Broadway this fall.

Producers said Thursday that the Oscar winner will play the role of Shelly Levene in a revival the marks the 30th anniversary of David Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play about the backbiting world of salesmen.

Pacino, who played the role of Ricky Roma in a 1992 film version of the same play, was last on Broadway as Shylock in “The Merchant of Venice,” earning a Tony nomination.
