Two teenagers have been arrested for robbing Chinese food deliveryman at gunpoint in their hometown of Hempstead late Tuesday night, Nassau County police said.
The 29-year-old victim was making a delivery on Elm Avenue when 18-year-old Lamel Blaylock grabbed him by the neck and 16-year-old Shakim Sheppard displayed a handgun and demanded money at 11:31 p.m., police said.
The two Hempstead teens stole cash and food before they fled to Sheppard’s home down the block, police said.

Officers apprehended the duo shortly later and the victim identified them as the suspects, police said.
A loaded .38-caliber handgun was recovered from Sheppard’s bedroom, police said. No injuries were reported.
Blaylock and Sheppard were charged with robbery, criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon.
They will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
