An Elmont man has been arrested for robbing a bank this week, Nassau County police said.
Robbery Squad detectives charged Michael Miller with robbery and violation of parole on Thursday.
Police said the 45-year-old man handed a demand note to a teller at the Astoria Federal Savings Bank on Franklin Avenue in Franklin Square on Monday afternoon.
The teller complied and Miller allegedly made off with cash.
He was admitted to a local hospital for a pre-existing medical condition and will be arraigned bedside, police said.
