Southampton Town Police arrested 10 people during a prostitution sting over the weekend near the Riverside traffic circle.
Police had undercover officers pose as both prostitutes and Johns on Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Eight men—most of them from Riverhead—were arrested for patronizing a prostitute, one woman was charged with prostitution and a 65-year-old Mastic man was accused of promoting prostitution.

Ruben Mutzutz, 36, of Riverhead, was additionally charged with resisting arrest after fighting with officers, police said.
All are scheduled to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court.
The sting was in response to complaints of “frequent and highly visible prostitution in the area,” police said in a statement.
