National Doughnut Day: Free Dunkin’ Donuts, Free Krispy Kreme

Doughnut lovers rejoice: National Doughnut Day has arrived in full force bringing foodies free treats!

While it’s summertime here in the Northern Hemisphere, AKA bikini season, snacking is a big “no-no” — but skip your beach dieting for one day and indulge in a doughnut or two.

National Doughnut Day was first introduced back in 1938 by The Salvation Army to raise funds for people in need during The Depression, and has been observed every year since on the first Friday in June. This year too, will be an exciting celebration as a few favored doughnut makers will be taking part in exciting promotions.
