SATURDAY 7.21

  • Vans Warped Tour 2012 @ Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale. The outdoor traveling music festival features nearly 100 bands a day on several stages across the festival grounds. Some Long Island bands have already been announced, including Taking Back Sunday and They All Float. More local bands will be announced with the annual Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands wrap-up closer to the date. The annual event is a breeding ground for promotion and has helped bands, labels, clothing companies and others get their names out to the masses.—Anthony Dobrini
