Nassau County police are looking for two suspects who robbed a Franklin Square jewelry store Tuesday morning.
Two men entered Luchie Capri Jewelers on Hempstead Turnpike at 9:40 a.m., detectives said. After posing as customers for a short time, one of the men pulled out a stun gun and demanded jewelry from the employee. They then grabbed a nearby knapsack that was filled with assorted jewerly and fled westbound on Hempstead Turnpike and then southbound on Williams Street on foot.
One employee was in the store at the time of the robbery. There were no injuries.
The first suspect is described as a 5’8″ Hispanic man with a heavy build in a gray hooded sweatshirt. The second man is described as a 6″ Hispanic man wearing dark pants and a black sweatshirt.
