A 46-year-old man has been accused of practicing dentistry out of his New Cassel home without having formal medical or dental training.
Nassau County police arrested Manuel Carranza on Wednesday after authorities received a tip about the alleged unlicensed dental practice.
Police said the office was equipped with dental equipment and various prescription medications. Two stun guns were also found inside.

Carranza also had a forged New York State identification card, police added.
He was charged with unauthorized practice of a crime, possession of a forged instrument, possession of a dangerous weapon and criminal diversion of a prescription.
He will be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
