Suffolk County police are investigating a motorcycle crash that killed a 43-year-old man in Commack on Thursday night.

Police said Greggory Raynor, of East Northport, was riding his 2004 Harley Davidson west on Motor Parkway when he apparently lost control of the motorcycle and crashed around 8:45 p.m. A physician assistant from the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s office pronounced him dead at the scene.

The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
