Suffolk County police raided a Selden home where they arrested two men after they found drugs, a gun and $2,600 worth of stolen electronics on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
Officers and detectives executed the search warrant at the house on Hawkins Road after neighborhood complaints led to an investigation into possible drug dealing there, police said.
Investigators recovered electronics that had been stolen from various Target stores, a stash of illegal prescription medications, a sawed-off shotgun and found three children living in the house.
Robert Lynch, 55, the homeowner, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Thomas Reilly, 52, a tenant who allegedly had the gun, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal contempt.
Brookhaven Town Fire Marshal and Building Department inspectors also responded to the scene due to the condition of the home, police said.
Child Protective Services was notified after officers found Lynch’s three children, two boys and a girl, living in the home, police said.
Lynch and Reilly will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip.
