Two Queens Teens Arrested For Stealing Car Tires And Rims In North Woodmere, Cops Say

Two teens were arrested for grand larceny Sunday after running off with car tires and rims.

According to Nassau County Police, at 3:10 a.m., police received a call for a man running toward Cedarhurst Street and Park Lane in North Woodmere with a car tire and rim in his hand. Once at the corner, the man was met by another in a gray Nissan Altima who helped him get the tire into the drunk. The two then headed westbound on Park Lane in the Altima. Cops observed the vehicle at Caldwell Avenue North, where they stopped the two and found two car tires and rims in the trunk of the vehicle.

Joley Aristhee, 19, of Queens Village and 18-year-old Jawad Jimoh, of Rosedale were both arrested without incident. The two are being charged with Grand Larceny and will arraigned on Monday April 2 at First District Court, Hempstead.
