A Beach Boys reunion? It was a day most of us thought would never come.

After years of infighting and bad blood, the Beach Boys put their differences aside to reunite at the 54th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

The performance was in honor of the band’s 50th anniversary. The boys hadn’t been onstage together in more than two decades due to family feuds and lawsuits.

Maroon 5 and Foster the People opened the stage, by performing the legendary band hits “Surfer Girl” and “Wouldn’t it Be Nice?” respectively.

The Beach Boys (Brian Wilson, Mike Love, David Marks, Bruce Johnston and Al Jardine) then took the stage, and with the help of the other two bands performed their smash hit “Good Vibrations.”

“It was kind of a different experience,” Wilson told the Associated Press backstage after the performance. “The guys are brilliantly performing their vocals. I’m very proud of the guys.”

The Beach Boys’ reunion doesn’t stop at the Grammys. The surviving band members are recording new songs and have an upcoming tour with shows in Europe and Japan. Love, Wilson’s cousin, called the new songs “fantastic.”

The reunion tour kicks off at the New Orleans Jazz Fest in late April.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
