Best Super Bowl Commercials (Video)

Picture 25

Picture 25The Super Bowl is known for its commercials. Many of the nation’s viewers who weren’t sports fans still tuned in just to catch them.

With millions of viewers tuning in, a top audience means top commercials. Sometimes, they cost upwards of 3.5 million for under a minute.

This year, the commercials were hilarious from introducing a new M&M named Ms.Brown to introducing a dog named “Bolt” who’s inspired by the new Beetle to get into shape. Here are the best:

The first is the new M&M’s commercial. The commercial introduced a new character named Ms. Brown who is giggled at and believed to be naked. Brown corrects the hecklers when another M&M comes in and rips of his shell believing he was at a nude party.

Another great commercial was from Chevy. A man drives his Chevy Silverado through an apocalyptic world predicted by the Mayan calendar. Unfortunately, Dave doesn’t make it to the meeting point thanks to a Ford driver. Ford must not be too happy.

Jerry Seinfeld starred in a new Acura commercial for the new Acura NSX. Problems arise when he finds out he is not first in line to receive one. He makes it his mission to stop at nothing to acquire the very first one, including giving the first in line access to his personal Manhattan zipline.

To celebrate the launch of the all-new 2012 CR-V, Honda brought Ferris Bueller back to life with Matthew Broderick himself.  This time, Broderick skips out on a day of work and lives it up in his new Honda, though he hits some road blocks along the way.

Doritos is often known for their super Super Bowl commercials. This year is no different. The Doritos commercial follows a hound who is seen doing what looks like burying a cat. His owner sees this happen and is offered Doritos in exchange for keeping his lips sealed. He accepts. Though we don’t love the killing-the-kitty part, we do love the Doritos bribery.

Another Doritos commercial follows a baby in a sling with an older woman. The woman spots a kid on a wood playset eating Doritos. She slings the baby over and snatches the bag for herself, and the baby of course.

The all-new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle was featured in a Super Bowl commercial. The sleek car inspires Bolt the dog to get in shape, and boy does he ever.
