There are too many stupid greedy politicians in nassau county and town of hempstead. They have been trying to get something done with that land for almost 20 years and it’s the same arguments from the same people. I hope the isles go to brooklyn or queens when their lease expires in 2015, and nassau is reduced to a crime infested ghetto. Those tax payers thought their taxes were gonna go up big if the august 1st referendum past? Ha, please. Just wait till that $200 million the coliseum generates is gone and they are left footing the bill to keep that building running when the islanders are gone.
