Authorities have apprehended a man wanted for murder in his hometown of Hempstead four months ago.
Nassau County police said Michael Gibson was arrested Sunday and taken back to New York by state parole officers.
The Homicide Squad detectives charged him with charged with second-degree murder and violation of parole.
Police said the 31-year-old man fatally shot Joseph Bolling, 23, also of Hempstead, outside of Seduction Bar on Main Street in the early morning hours of Sept. 3.
Gilbson will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
