Long Island’s Matt’s Munchies Unveils Gluten-Free, Vegan & Kosher Eats


By reinventing the traditional presentation and taste of dried fruit snacks, Long Island-based Chef Roberts has generated a tremendous amount of excitement in the health-food world. The new, premium fruit snacks, Matt’s Munchies, are all less than 100 calories per serving package and are made of pure organic ingredients. All nine flavors are certified Gluten-free, Vegan, Kosher-Pareve. Six flavors are USDA Organic while the three chocolate flavors have organic ingredients.

Chef Roberts is a family owned business led by Robert Mograbi, his wife Linda and son, Matthew.  “We are excited and enthusiastic about the growth of Matt’s Munchies.  Our success in Long Island set the stage for what to expect on a national scale and our snacks are now being enjoyed in twenty two states!” explains an excited Matthew Mograbi, VP of Sales for Matt’s Munchies. “Eating healthy is critical to a high-quality and high-functioning lifestyle and with so many great-tasting, healthy snacks available, eating healthy has become much easier.”

Elisa Bosley, Senior Food Editor for Delicious Living magazine selected Matt’s Munchies as one of the ‘top 10’ new food items in her best food products list from Expo West, one of the major West Coast food expositions. Ashley Koff, R.D. presented her favorite finds at the Expo on her segment of Good Morning America that aired March 31, 2011. Matt’s Munchies’ Choco-Nana and Island Mango flavors were featured on her table.
