As with any break-up, conflicting reports are coming in from both sides on the reason Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries a mere 72 days after they said “I do.”

Kardashian reportedly blindsided the NBA player with divorce papers on Monday.
“I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents,” Humphries told TMZ.
He added, “I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce … I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”
The marriage reportedly fell apart because Humphries wanted to move to his home state of Minnesota but the reality star was insistent on staying in Hollywood for her family and career.
However, now the celebrity website is reporting that Kardashian’s friends are saying Humphries is not as devastated as he claims to be, and immediately began “chasing fame” once divorce was imminent. He allegedly pushed to keep their connection going despite their split and was looking into “branding” his name with cologne and nightclubs.
The two wed on Aug. 20, in a wedding that cost a reported $20 million and included over 400 guests. The storybook ceremony was televised as a two-part special on E!.
The network released a statement regarding the divorce earlier on Monday.
