That’s what you get when you treat any local band that’s not “famous” like pieces of shit. Pay them like shit and nobody wants to return. Word gets around fast about shitty venues, especially these days. treat your bands well, and you may have a better chance of staying open….oh, and keep the guido douchebags out as well.

Amy isn’t a loser, as whylekat is an asshole. Yeah only little kids and teenagers may go here, but this was the only place for us! There is SO many restaurant/bars through out Long Island, but nothing like this. I’m now 18, I’ve also had so much memories here seeing my favorite posthardcore/screamo bands, that’s the only reason why I went. When those bands came to Long Island, they only went to the Crazy Donkey. Now I have to go all the way to the city to see them? This is Bullshit. I actually like the fact it was small, because the bands were so close to you. And when they did signings you didn’t have to walk f***ing forever trying to find your way. I will miss this place, so much. I can’t believe it!

This is very sad to hear. I remember having so many good times at the Crazy Donkey. My friends and I will miss the club greatly. Good Luck to the owners and thank you for all my fun times there. It will be missed!!!.
