A man with a rocket arm and a woman who knows how to work the runway—that’s the combo that makes you the richest celebrity couple in the world.
New England Patriots star quarterback, Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen took the No. 1 spot on “The World’s Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples” list beating out music powerhouse Jay-Z and Beyonce.
Forbes credited the athlete-supermodel duo for fashion and endorsement deals that pushed them to the top spot. According to the magazine, Bundchen took home $45 million over 12 months, and Brady earned $31 million, giving the couple a combined $76 million in earnings.
And if that doesn’t make it easier at the ATM, the fashion icon with a savy business mind also has a chance to become the world’s first billionaire supermodel, according to Forbes.
Just behind Brady and Bundchen was Jay-Z and Beyonce, who brought in a combined $72 million over the past year. With help from her clothing line and endorsement deals with DirectTV, L’Oreal and others, the R&B singer took in $35 million.
As for her husband, rap icon Jay-Z, most of his money was earned from his 10-year $150 million deal with Live Nation that he signed three years ago. According to Forbes, the rapper also pocketed money as a shareholder with the New Jersey Nets and the 40/40 Club.
In third, was the acting-duo of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who combined for $50 million over the past year. The actress, who has become a leading action star in the movie industry, had a successful year at the Box Office with “Salt” and “The Tourist,” which also starred Johnny Depp.
Pocketing a combined $45 million was David and Victoria Beckham, good for fourth on the list.
And finishing fifth on Forbes rich list were “Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, whose annual salary was a combined $40 million.
