Wow, “Ken” I’m so glad that you can judge an entire precinct of officers because one of them is an asshole. Just so I’m clear, you hope a building full of people are “miserable for the rest of their lives” because one of their co-workers is a jerk.

What the hell is wrong with people that they’re ready to get that vicious against people they know absolutely nothing about?

And “an uprising?” really? So there’s going to be a revolt against the police because one of them was a jerk and a camera guy ended up going to jail for a few hours? WTF, man? This was bad, there’s no mistaking it, but if this is how you react, I doubt you’re much better than that officer.

Just another example of corrupt, ill trained, arrogant SCPD cops abusing their badge and GUN! IA’s should ensure the public’s safety with FIRING THIS POOR EXCUSE OF AN OFFICER! No pension for you! When are we citizens going to band together to stop this; it is a daily occurrence and surely gives the “GREAT” cops a very bad rap? Those good cops should also close ranks and weed out the power hungry idiots that we allow to make split second life and death decisions in our community. Come on good guys in blue; please speak up because you are equally if not worse of a bully than the one’s you turn a blinds eye to!

If this Officer has been on patrol for 30 years he’s a bit simple and should not have possession of public property such as a vehicle or a weapon. Mr. Ryan and Datz, we will be reaching out. This LIO needs to understand the potential liability these types of acts will cost him, his supervisor and Suffolk County. This LIO seems to be making up his own laws then as having authority fitting whatever infraction he can within a normal lawful context which he simply can’t with this citizen and he knows this. If Mr. Datz was in fact arrested there will be contradictions in the LIO’s report and the context of the truth we just viewed in this video. IMHO, Citizen wins, Officer loses, Suffolk County Tax Payer loses. After formal investigations and alleged charges have been propounded I personal would be seeking a civil judgment against this Officer personally.
