Has anybody reviewed the work of the lab under the prior director, Kubic? This problem must have had its roots in a longstanding, institutionalized disregard for standards and the law and that would have been when Kubic was there. Beyond that, is it really believable that Rice, who must be design, work hand in glove with the crime lab and its people, had no idea the lab was severely deficient? This is truly criminal in that it intentionally deprived people of due process for years and years. And now the county os paying top defend these people!!! Which law firms are defending which people at our expense? Don’t we have the right to know?

I know 1st hand.App. 5 years ago I was arrested for mostly for mostly what they said was “codeine” residue,However the only thing I kept in that bottle was aspirin never codeine.I can’t say I’m surprised everyone mostly the police dept. Are nothing but a bunchof over paid IDIOTS!Pay the fire dept by taking 52,000.00 a year from each cop ,they’ll be still over paid & people both volunteer firemen &home owner’s would benefit!
