A Commack man has been arrested twice in four days for driving while high on drugs on the Long Island Expressway, authorities said.
Suffolk County deputy sheriffs had charged 33-year-old Anthony Vellucci at 3 a.m. Saturday and then again at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Vellucci had been released without bail over the weekend and is due back in court Friday in the first case. He is slated to be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Central Islip on the new charges.
He was additionally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while ability impaired by a combined influence of drugs and alchol, and traffic violations.
