I want to know why the posted reward is only 5k. You have got to be kidding me. Suffolk County is home to some of the most affluent individuals in the country. A serious reward amount could pry some info loose. I myself would contribute if I had the means, but can’t someone step up? Long Island Business Association, or any other associations or individuals who call Long Island “home”?

This guy should be hung, drawn, quartered, and gibbeted on the Brooklyn Bridge.

I’m not in any way defending this guy’s actions. However if our society treated drug addiction as a medical problem, rather than a criminal problem, this loser could get his fix legally and this tragedy would never have happened.

The biggest flaw in his plan was not to shoot the security cameras out first. Otherwise the murder of the innocents was uncalled for and if New York had civilized laws the victims would have been able to shoot back. Actually, in states where it is easy to obtain a concealed carry permit, crimes of this nature are almost nonexistent (ie: Virginia). Criminals never know who might be armed and are not inclined to take the chance.

A few years a aog in Seattle a guy wlaked into a dunkuin donuts, shot and killed 4 onduty, unifromed, armed cops. None of them could clear leather in time to return fire in time

@ Tyler. Having a gun for defense only makes sense if you’re expecting for someone to shoot you. Otherwise, you’re going about your business and you’ll fall victim to a gun-toting criminal regardless of what you’re packing.

My thoughts are with the families of these victims. Such a tragedy. I am hopeful that the perp is caught and punished.

I only hope these business start to arm themselves to prevent things like this in the future. There is no better way to scare off attacks like this then to fire back at criminals. If they think an establishment may be armed, they will go no where near it.
