Rev.Ramirez…your position may be valid but the GOP has no positions remotely benefiting the immigration community. This group would be better off cultivating the Democrats, who not exactly there, are at least approaching positions that enure to immigrant help.

The immigrant community must stop automatically flocking to the Democratic nominee as it has done in the past, and has yet to receive any effective policies from their previous Democratic county executive Steve Levy, who created a climate of fear for our community; to President Obama, who promised immigration reform in his first year in office when he had the votes to pass it, and DID NOT do it. Democrats have taken the immigrant community for granted and do not deserve to even be considered worthy of our support. It is time to open dialogue with Republicans, support them, and show the Democrats that this community cannot be taken for granted.
