LeBron James’ Miami Heat are one loss away from losing the NBA Finals to the Dallas Mavericks, but now James has another problem to deal with.

Rumors have been circulating around the Internet, that James’ girlfriend, Savannah Brinson, might have had a relationship with another basketball player.

The basketball player in question is Rashard Lewis of the Washington Wizards, who went on 97.9 The Box to deny the reports, and said he’s never met James’ girlfriend.

“I have no idea,” Lewis told the radio host who asked him why these rumors are circulating. “That’s what I’m trying to figure out…now I come home and I hear the same rumors…those rumors are 100 percent false, they’re not true, I don’t know how they came up.”

Lewis pointed the finger at James’ detractors who he said are trying to distract the Heat forward during the NBA Finals.

“They need to let the man play,” he added. “He’s trying to win a championship, and they’re putting all this negative stuff out about him…they need to leave the man alone and let him play.”

“We’re like brothers,” he said of NBA players. “And you don’t do that to a brother. So that’s something I would never do, I would never cross that line.”

This isn’t the first time an NBA player has been rumored to have a relationship with someone close to James.

When he was in Cleveland rumors circulated that James’ mother fooled around with his teammate, Delonte West.

The rumors come at a bad time for James whose trying to pick up his play after some disappointing games in the Finals.

The Heat are down 3-2 in the series and James has scored 11 points in five fourth-quarter games during the Finals.
