New York State and Nassau County police are conducting a follow-up search Friday after last week discovering the ninth and tenth sets of human remains found in five months along Ocean Parkway.
The latest search comes after Suffolk County police divers scoured the waters off Oak Beach earlier this week as the investigation continues into a possible serial killer. State and local police have said they may return to search again once high-resolution images are analyzed from recent FBI aircraft flyovers.
Ocean Parkway will be open during the latest search, police said.

Forensics experts are still working to identify six sets of remains in the past four weeks, including a human skull and partial human skeletal remains found separately near Tobay Beach and four sets of remains found on the Suffolk County side of Jones Beach Island.
Those discoveries were made while the FBI, state and local police have been investigating four dead online escorts were found near Gilgo Beach in December.
Police have not officially linked the new remains to those first four.
Officers had uncovered the first remains while searching for 24-year-old Shannan Gilbert of New Jersey, a prostitute who was last seen in Oak Beach last May after meeting a client on Craigslist.
Police are still searching for Gilbert.
