Pauley Perrette, more widely known as lovably kooky forensic scientist Abby Scuitto on television show NCIS, is releasing a single.

The song, “Fire in Your Eyes,” is an R&B-pop duet with Perrette and B. Taylor, who ironically is a Navy veteran. The two met when he visited the set of NCIS, where his friend works as an advisor.
Perrette invited Taylor to her church, Hollywood United Methodist, and it inspired the veteran to write the song. The actress is no stranger to music, and has been in and out of bands throughout her acting career. Her single “Fear” was included on an NCIS soundtrack, and she is currently working on a record with her band, Stop Making Friends.
Taylor’s spokeswoman announced that the single will be available on iTunes on May 3 by Universal Music Group’s Bungalo Records. A music video is also planned.
