E-Readers have been growing in popularity over the last couple of years, and now one of the major readers on the market is getting an upgrade.
The Nook Color by Barns & Nobles will reportedly expand its technology to include Flash support and additional apps.
In a press release sent out on Friday, Barns & Nobles said their will be a major update this spring to the device’s firmware and it will offer customers access to email and other features.
“We created NOOK Color for people who love to read everything – books, magazines, children’s books and more – in rich, beautiful color, and are continually adding terrific new content our customers have asked for,” Barns & Nobles said in a statement.
The makers of Nook also announced that starting in April customers can connect to Barns & Nobles Wi-Fi to access more content, including: essays and short stories.
