Sunday night’s 83rd annual Academy Awards ceremony was kind to The King’s Speech.

The film was named Best Picture and Colin Firth was named Best Actor for his performance in the movie. It also won for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.
Long Island’s Natalie Portman won Best Actress for her haunting performance in Black Swan. Inception and The Social Network also took home a variety of awards.
