It was announced on Monday that Tyshawn Taylor was suspended by the Kansas Jayhawks for violating team rules.
The violation and how long the suspension will last is still unknown.
Head coach Bill Self said in a statement issued by the school, “Although we are disappointed in Tyshawn, he will remain a member of our team and practice with our team until he is reinstated for competition.”
Taylor, a junior from Hoboken, N.J., started 26 of 27 games this season averaging 8.8 points and 4.7 assists per game.
Kansas (25-2) is currently ranked 3rd in the AP Poll that came out today.
